Jim McGuinness & Aaron Streepy initially founded the firm with common goals to provide unions with affordable, quality representation in arbitration hearings, proceedings before the NLRB, and labor negotiations.  Both McGuinness & Streepy have been principal officers of larger local labor unions, in-house counsel, and worked in private practice.  We represent unions with members in both the private and public sectors in a variety of industries including retail sales, retail food, retail meat, meat processing and packing plants, healthcare, and office/clerical workers.

Streepy Law, PLLC is the continuation of McGuinness & Streepy Law Offices founded in 2010.  Jim McGuinness continues to have a relationship with the firm but is gradually reducing his role to take on new challenges in Montana.

Aaron Streepy comes from a working class background and understands the importance of labor unions and the power of solidarity. What begins with shared pain and inequalities, ends -hopefully- in shared purpose and the struggles for a better life for ourselves and our families.
About Aaron
In support of the labor movement and our common purpose of advancing the lives of workers, Streepy Law offers representation in labor arbitration, matters before the National Labor Relations Board, and legal advice regarding labor negotiations and the role unions play as employer.

Labor Arbitration

With more than a decade enforcing the contractual rights of unions and employees, in both the public and private sector, Aaron Streepy has represented unions in complicated contract interpretation matters as well as discipline and discharge cases.

NLRB Hearings

Aaron Streepy has represented unions in representation cases, unit clarification cases, unfair labor practices against employers, and DFR charges filed against unions.

The Union as Employer

Aaron Streepy and Jim McGuinness have similar backgrounds in labor law.  Both attorneys were elected officers within the United Food & Commercial Workers Union. Their time in leadership has given them the insight and experience to help labor leaders in their role as Employer.
